Meet our team

Annette is CEO/Founder of Egality. Annette was previously a policy and public affairs consultant where she worked with global pharmaceutical companies to improve health systems and increase access to innovative treatments. This included working on national and global policy, patient engagement and market access programmes with multiple stakeholders across health systems.

Annette also previously worked as Chair of the Board for Social Action for Health, a grassroots organisation empowering people and communities to live healthier lives in North East London. Annette founded Egality to combine her experience in both roles. She is passionate about connecting those most impacted by health inequalities with the health research and life science industry.

Bhuvan joined Egality after graduating from the LSE where he completed his MSc in Development Studies. He has previously worked as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte India and as a Research Associate.

At Egality, Bhuvan has worked with a range of clients such as NIHR BioResource, Tate & Lyle, University of Aberdeen, etc. and has led multi-stakeholder engagements with health charities and academics alike to deliver recruitment campaigns, focus groups, and PPIE workshops.

His key skills include planning and delivering qualitative research, project management, report-writing, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. As a queer person of colour, Bhuvan brings to the organisation a unique understanding of intersectional inequalities.

Sneha is a dedicated professional driven by a passion for equitable development and a commitment to positive change. With a background in international development and economics, she recently graduated from LSE with an MSc in Development Management.

Her skill set has been cultivated through internships at WaterAid, AySA, and the United Nations Development Programme, which encompassed mixed methods research, data analysis, policy evaluation, stakeholder engagement and report writing. Sneha also previously interned at Egality before re-joining to become an Executive.

Raised in various regions of India, Sneha’s firsthand exposure to health inequalities fuels her dedication to reducing disparities and amplifying the voices of underserved communities through active community engagement initiatives.

Dr Heidi Green is a Health Equity and Patient Involvement Specialist, with a decade of experience spanning academia, pharma, CRO, and charity organisations. She started her career in clinical trials methodology focusing on recruitment to trials, and quickly found that recruitment to trials lacked inclusivity and diversity. Since then, she’s built a roster of clients pushing for inclusive and accessible research, with the end goal of making health equitable for all. Heidi neurodivergent, and is a rare disease patient herself, and alongside her consultancy work she offers training on how to support neurodivergent people and people living with rare and/or chronic illnesses in the workplace.

Lucy brings together a background of journalism, grassroots organising, and creative communication to Egality. Before joining the team, they worked on the frontline alongside migrant and displaced communities through grassroots collectives, building a practice rooted in solidarity and community power. This experience led to roles in fundraising and communications for NGOs in the same space, where they spearheaded several successful crowdfunding campaigns. At Egality, they draw on their professional background in social media and strategic communications to support digital engagement and project delivery. Their skills span community organising, writing, and narrative strategy, honed through years of advocacy work. With a practice shaped by solidarity and a commitment to centering under served voices, they bring both creativity and care to advancing advocacy within the health equity space.
