Community Organisations
Egality works with community organisations, groups, and networks to bring the experiences, expertise, and priorities of underserved communities into health research and decision-making.
Communities already hold deep knowledge about the barriers people face, what matters to them, and what needs to change. Egality create meaningful opportunities for those insights to shape research, healthcare, and decision-making.
Our approach is built on long-term relationships, meaningful involvement, and accountability. We ensure that our community partners know why their input is being sought, how it will be used, and what the outcome is.
Working with Egality might look like being invited to:
- Share your experiences or opinions in a listening session
- Review research documents or communications materials
- Help us shape a research study or recruitment approach
- Recruit people from your network to participate in research opportunities
- Give feedback on a proposal or project we’re working on
- Connect us with other groups or organisations doing similar work
There is no expectation to be involved in everything. We will always be clear about what we’re asking, why we’re asking and the time commitment, and the remuneration.
Egality recognises the value of community experience and expertise and therefore pays community partners for their time and contribution.
Interested in working with us?
We don’t expect one organisation or one person to speak for an entire community. So, we are always looking to work with more community groups, networks, and people with lived experiences, specifically those from under-represented groups.

You and your community don’t need any prior research experience. You don’t need to know the language of clinical trials. We’re interested in your knowledge, your experiences, and your perspectives.
